Active Programs
Safe Zone Trainings
These trainings are offered to the public throughout the year as a form of education surrounding LGBTQ+ identities and related topics. Typically, the sessions are broken down into two parts with increasing depth and application of concepts learned. Additionally, organizations may reach out to request private training on an individual basis. For more information, visit the Safe Zone Training webpage!
Mentorship Program
The mentorship program is dedicated to providing allyship, experience, friendship, knowledge, and empowerment to community members in the Cedar Valley. Individuals may sign up to be a mentor or mentee, and mentors are not required to personally identify with an LGBTQIA+ identity. Check out the Mentorship Program webpage for more details!
AFFIRM
AFFIRM is a Christ-centered interdenominational youth group that affirms the inclusion of the LGBTQ+ community and welcomes diverse beliefs. Meetings are held at St. Timothy's United Methodist Church as part of the Children and Youth Ministry. AFFIRM leadership also includes some representatives from the Cedar Valley LGBTQ+ Coalition.
