What is the Mentorship Program?

The Cedar Valley LGBTQ+ Mentorship Program is designed to provide "allyship, experience, friendship, knowledge, and empowerment" to individuals connected with the LGBTQ+ community. The mentorship program coordinator will gather information from an online form completed by mentors and mentees to inform how those interested will be paired together. There is no age limit for program participants, including both mentors and mentees. Additionally, mentors are not required to personally identify with an LGBTQIA+ identity in order to be eligible: Each mentor/mentee relationship comes with its own unique needs and qualities!
